Job Description/Skills Required
- Lead and direct pricing & discounting strategy formulation that enhances sales and profitability
- Tracking market trends and implement price revisions by evaluating margin impact, potential incremental volume, and competitor price levels
- Plug pricing intelligence into the rolling sales plan (Annual, Quarterly, Monthly planning)
- Analytics & assessment : Effectiveness & impact of pricing decisions
- Extract data from various databases using Business Intelligence tools and analysis using Excel features such as Vlookup, Pivot Tables, etc
- Liaise with Division team, external stakeholders like stockists, customers (Hospitals), Sales reps to understand market trends and feedback
Desired Candidate Profile:
- 2-4 years of Head office level experience in Pricing, B2B2C/B2B spend management/ experience. Preferably in healthcare, pharmaceuticals, FMCGs / FMCDs or any similar B2B setup
- Bachelors degree required (Commerce/Mathematics preferred); MBA preferred
