Key Responsibilities

Leading Lean initiatives at the Production by working closely with respective blocks/units.
Identify process improvement opportunities utilizing organizational, analytical, Lean and Six sigma problem solving methodologies.
Establish, measure, and monitor key process metrics tied to overall Organizational operational improvement goals.
Act as a champion and change agent for driving positive culture change and improving operational efficiencies while developing new techniques and tactics.
Able to identify issues of the business in collaboration with process owners and develop a list of improvement projects.
Design and drive Operational excellence reward and recognition program in line with the Operational Excellence program maturity.

Develop and implement bottom-up approach i.e., Daily management program across the organization to create sustenance and involving shop floor / Grass root people in the operational excellence journey.
Provide guidance to relevant site employees to apply continuous improvement tools and methodologies to clearly define the operations current state value streams, driving out waste, redundant and improving overall process execution.
Drive kaizen, OPL (One-point lessons) & other daily management techniques and ensure maturity achievement year on year.
Work with cross functional team for coordination and support in execution of SaiGo initiatives.
Develop, maintain, and ensure compliance with procedures and metrics that impact quality, safety, process, and productivity improvements throughout the company.
Able to identify issues of the business in collaboration with process owner and develop a list of improvement projects.
Providing support to the Site Management and functional leaders in the development and deployment of OE Program, utilizing continuous improvement methodology across all projects.
Able to train employees on 8 types of waste, lean principles, 5S, Lean Six Sigma, VSM etc.
Identifying NVAs in the process of sample intimations from production to QC and plan of actions to reduce the delay.
Key Competencies (Technical, Functional & Behavioural)
Good Presentation skills and well versed about Excel & any statistical tools.
Experience in Lean concepts, value stream mapping and QC Tools
Knowledge of driving the process Simplification efforts
Sound knowledge in data analytics and developing insights effectively.
Able to work with cross functional teams.
Effective communicator across all levels of the organization
Six Sigma Green / Yellow Belt Certification preferable, able to run six sigma projects.
