Job Description/Skills Required

Engineer -Instrumentation -Plant Engineering

1. Execution of day to day Plant engineering (Instrumentation) activities.
2. Execution of instrumentation Breakdown maintenance activities, review and analysis.
3. Execution of all calibration activities of plant engineering on day to day basis
4. Timely execution of modification / project works related to instrumentation
5. Maintaining minimum level of instrumentation related spares & consumables
6. Draft preparation of documentation like SOPs etc. as per the cGMP, ISO 9001 and ICH Q7A guidelines.
7. Deliver services to the manufacturing activities by close monitoring of day to day issues to meet the DDP target 99%.
8. Corrective and preventive actions time to time when instruments / validations out of calibration / service.
9. Attending to day to day instrumentation works
10. Up keeping the plant & facilities for customer & regulatory audits
11. PR raising, material follow up and material inspection
12. All Equipments / instruments, carryout all calibration, maintenance and documentation of all instrumentation.
13. Carry out calibration of Dial / Electronic weighing scales as per the prescribed schedules in house and procedure.
14. Carry out validation of areas and equipment as per the prescribed schedules by the external agency traceable to national standards.
15. Carry out calibration of instruments as per the prescribed schedules as and when required in house with the help of external agencies.
16. Performs the activities related to Caliber QAMS module.

Mechanical & Utility Engineer Job Responsibilities:

• 1. Supervision of Mechanical breakdown maintenance activities, review and analysis.
• 2. Supervision & Implementation of Preventive maintenance of process and utilities
• Equipment (Chillers, Compressors, Boiler, & Water system etc.) As per the prescribed
• Schedules.
• 3. Preparation of Boilers for renewal of registration annually as per the procedures.
• 4. Supervision of Operation and maintenance of water system i.e. raw water, soft
• Water, D.M.Water and Purified water systems as per procedures.
• 5. Entering all engineering requisition in SAP and close the notification after the completion.
• 6. Supervision of engineering materials inventory as per the maintenance needs and
• Requirements.
• 7. Implementation of Building maintenance including annual painting/routine painting as
• per prescribed schedules and procedures
• 8. Preparation of critical spare parts list to maintain inventory in engineering stores.
• 9. Implementation of Building maintenance including annual painting/routine painting as
• Per prescribed schedules and procedures.

Service Engineer-Quality Control:

• Responsible for maintenance of all Instruments in Quality Control Department.
• Reports to In-Charge/Head-QC.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the instruments and work place.
• Responsible for monitoring the preventive maintenance of the instruments as per the schedule.
• Responsible for trouble shooting and servicing of HPLC, GC and other QC instruments.
• Responsible for maintaining IQ, OQ, PQ and history cards for all instruments.
• Responsible for follow up with service persons for installation of new instruments and support given for completion of the activity.
• Coordinate with SCM department for the procurement of new instruments and spare parts if required and also follow up for the instruments AMC and CMC as per schedules.
• Responsible for maintaining the external calibration of master instruments as per schedule.
• Any other relevant entrusted to the person by the immediate supervisor.

Chemist-GC

• Responsible for day-to-day activities of Quality Control Department.
• Reports to Section In-charge-QC.
• Ensuring the cleanliness of the instruments and work place.
• Carryout the GC analysis of In-Process, Raw material, Intermediates and finished products as per the controlled method of analysis.
• Recording the analysis details in respective work book and other relevant log books for each analysis.
• Reviw of analytical work sheets and data related to GC analysis.
• Responsible for the investigation of OOS, OOT, Deviations, Laboratory Occurrences and Incidents as per the controlled procedures.
• Responsible for the maintenance of GC Columns.
• Responsible for the maintenance of GC standards.
• Responsible for calibration and maintenance of GC instruments.
• Any other relevant entrusted to the person by the immediate supervisor.
