Roles and Responsibilities
Assist in developing new products by conducting experiments, analyzing data, and reporting results.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and optimize chemical synthesis routes.
Conduct analytical testing of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using various techniques such as HPLC, GC, FTIR, etc.
Maintain accurate records of experimental procedures, protocols, and results in a laboratory notebook or database.
Participate in process improvements initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality of work.
Wet Lab – AR&D
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conduct wet lab activities such as synthesis, purification, characterization, and analysis of APIs (Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients).
- Perform various chemical reactions including crystallization, distillation, filtration, etc. to produce high-quality API products.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines during all laboratory operations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to product development and manufacturing.
- Maintain accurate records of experiments, results, and inventory management.
GC MS and Validation- AR&D
Roles and Responsibilities
- Conducts validation studies for new equipment, instruments, and methods according to established protocols.
- Prepares and reviews SOPs related to instrument qualification/validation, method transfer, and calibration.
- Executes validation protocols independently with minimal supervision.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements by maintaining accurate records of validation activities.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to resolve issues related to instrument performance.
MD, TT & RA – AR&D
Roles and Responsibilities
- Develop new methods for API synthesis, purification, and characterization.
- Conduct method development activities such as solid phase synthesis, HPLC, GC, LCMS, and other analytical techniques.
- Perform routine analysis of samples using various instruments like UV-Vis Spectrophotometer, Polarimeter etc.
- Troubleshoot issues related to instrumentation and develop solutions to improve efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operation of laboratory equipment.
PC Lab (Physicochemical Laboratory) – AR&D
Roles and Responsibilities
A Prep Lab (Preparation Laboratory) in an AR&D (Analytical Research & Development) department is responsible for the preparation of samples, solutions, and reagents used in analytical testing.
- Conduct sample preparation activities such as weighing, dissolution, filtration, etc.
- Prepare solutions and reagents according to specifications.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks in the laboratory area.
- Ensure compliance with cGMP guidelines during all lab operations.
- Maintain accurate records of test results and reports.
