Job Description/Skills Required
- Key Skills
- • Strong technical knowledge in chemical engineering &/or chemistry. An exposure in the areas of continuous flow chemistry/continuous manufacturing desirable (experience a plus)
- • Knowledge of QbD & DOE principles and implementation of the same
- • Demonstrate speed in execution and excellence in application of literature findings into daily experimentation (when & where applicable)
- • Ability to apply fundamental knowledge in complex problem solving and applications of modeling & statistical tools for analyzing experimental data
- • Demonstrate excellence in innovation, ideation and execution
- Responsibilities:
- • Connect with cross functional teams and conduct costing and feasibility exercise
- • Work (independently and on conducting experiments/fundamental studies for establishing feasibility of continuous flow chemistry for various reactions, extractions and crystallization schemes.
- • Work towards process optimization and scale up of selected processes
- • Conduct experiments on specific downstream unit operation (like filtration, drying etc.)
- • Work with plant team (MSAT, CPP etc) for execution of trials and validations, prepare development report, tech transfer documents, engineering documents etc
- • Work closely with quality team for updating of SOPs and process documentation in line with flow technology
