Job Description/Skills Required:
- New Product Launch Management Engage in Pre Launch planning activities – Participate in launch planning discussions along with NSM, Division Head, GTM; decide on target customer base for region; determine the number of visits to be made, determine the format of the launch (individual / group / hospital / medical college – eg: trade shows, conferences, individual visits etc), allocate responsibilities to those meant to drive the launch etc; collaborate with PMT to derive launch forecast; engage in post launch audit – review of primary and secondary sales through regular discussions with RSM and ASM, review offers / discounts for institutional sales, review extent of doctors’ coverage, review different reports generated to track achievement of sales targets IN ORDER TO ensure maximum coverage for new products
- Sales Management of Existing Products Obtain finalized budgets for the marketing team, discuss and allocate targets to ASMs, set milestones to track progress, conduct regular sales reviews with RSMs and ASMs to track achievement of targets, resolve issues and take corrective action IN ORDER TO increase market share and improve ranking
- Promotion Strategy for New and Existing Products / Increasing visibility of brand Dr Reddys Provide inputs on type of launch and promotional material; decide on promotion plan based on understanding of market realities, provide necessary budgetary approvals for the conduct of promotional events IN ORDER TO conduct effective promotions that would enhance sales
- Key Account Management Meet with identified ‘Key Opinion Leaders’ (KOL) and Key Accounts on a fortnightly basis, solicit feedback on sales delivery (availability) and whether the product has met relevant needs, communicate this feedback / input to team and ensure this feedback is acted upon through appropriate action IN ORDER TO increase sales from key accounts that contribute to maximum revenue
- Conceptualization of New Products Gather inputs from customers, KOLs and team members on unmet therapeutic needs; provide inputs to Product Management Team (PMT) for new product identification; validate inputs from PMT based on understanding of market and inputs from field; participate in discussions with representatives of Market Research for new product ideation and give inputs for development of final plan IN ORDER TO achieve clarity on the right patient segment, right launch volume and right price
