Job description:
- Coordinate with QC department for sampling and approval of the material. Ensure proper receipt of raw materials and packing materials and the same is properly recorded in SAP. Issue the material as per requirement of the user department after receiving issue notes from them and update the record for receipt and issue the material from time to time. Verify physical stock on consignment basis and provide information / data to your reporting authority. Carry out dispatch related activities viz. palletizing, shrink packaging, loading, labelling etc. Prepare returnable / non-returnable gate passes under the guidance / instruction of the respective department heads. Responsible for intimating purchase department in case material / goods is not received as per purchase order. This includes shortage of material, damage to the material, quality and quantity of the material. Supervise the work which is being done by the contract workers and ensure safety procedures are followed. Extend help to departmental head in achieving departmental targets and objectives. Ensure & maintain cleanliness and good housekeeping at the workplace.
