Job Description/Skills Required
- To plan and organize monthly production schedule based on the plan given by Planning/marketing department.
- To ensure that products are produced and stored according to the appropriate documentation in order to obtain the required quality.
- To approve the instructions relating to production operations and to ensure their strict implementation
- To ensure that the store and production records are evaluated and signed by an authorized person before they are sent to the Quality Assurance Department.
- To check the maintenance of his department, premises and equipment.
- To ensure that the appropriate validation are done.
- To ensure that the required initial and continuing training of his department personnel is carried out and adapted according to need. To delegate training to technical personnel and workmen on technical and cGMP Issues.
- To assess the training feedback and identify need for retraining.
- To maintain a healthy relationship with employees of organization to identify their needs, this would help in appraisal and creating motivation at work place.
- To investigate all market complaint and reports along with Quality Assurance.
- To co-ordinate and control all activities of different department of store and production for orderly production, packing and delivery of quality products according to priority and schedule.
- To co-ordinate with maintenance department / external agencies to minimize breakdown of machine.
- To co-ordinate with Quality Control department for obtaining timely analysis results and Quality Assurance department for timely release so as to minimize lead time for the production.
