Mission and role
The Manager position within Teva India, technical support, Ophthalmic products would be responsible for
• Representing EMSO during the Tech transfer activities from R&D to plant
• Supporting development activities for resolution of technical challenges during Hand-in-hand process with R&D, launch manufacturing and commercialization, and in-line product support
Main tasks
1. Support during R&D phase
• Review of development protocols, reports, specifications, STPs, deviations, investigations, incident reports to ensure product and process is robust and suitable for commercialization
• Support site with identification and mitigation of risks associated with development and scale up
• Ensure appropriate knowledge transfer from R&D to site has occurred in preparation for site scale-up
• Performing Gap analysis / process comparison / Technical risk assessment in preparation for tech transfer and product launch
• Handling of Incident report. Deviation and Change control as per requirements
• Plan and execute Pre-validation and validation batches as per launch priorities
2 Support during technology transfer and launch
• Documentation, deviations, investigations, incidents required for launch preparation
• Finalization of commercial batch size taking into consideration forecast and equipment capacities
• Oversee process validation to ensure technical excellence
• Resolution of technical issues observed during PV batches or post PV batches
• Monitor in-line products to ensure they remain in a validated state
• Support Non-sterile Product transfers from one site to another. Review technical documents prepare Gap assessments and provide technical inputs
