Job Description/Skills Required
- Lead large, complex technical projects (e.g. Technology Transfer, Process Improvement, Regulatory, etc.) at CMO, CRO and internal PGS sites.
- Major focus on drug substance technology transfers, mammalian cell culture, fermentation and gene therapy.
- Work in close collaboration with partner lines in GTE, GCMC, Operations, Commercial and across PGS
- Solve complex technical challenges in technology transfer, manufacturing and process improvement initiatives.
- Provide project estimates in terms of budget, timeline, risks and resource needs during SCR/initiation phases.
- Develop and manage project budget and schedule within required PMO standards during project life cycle
- Planning of project from approval process, initiation, execution, BOH submission, close out and product launch
- Ability to work well in gray space defined as area of uncertainty or level of unknown which is unclear and difficult for most to understand. Ability to define breakdown unknowns into clear work instruction for team members to follow and execute.
- Apply industry-wide best practices for Project and Portfolio Management to Pfizer’s Integrated Technology Transfer Business Process.
