Job Description/Skills Required
The Data Governance Office Project Manager is a key role to support the effective management and execution of data projects including Master Data Management, enterprise reference data, Holistic Data Framework operationalization and maintenance and other (TBD) data projects.
Accountability Supporting Activities
Project Management • Ability to effectively manage projects from definition to project completion
• Effectively partner and collaborate with impacted stakeholders to define scope, milestones, roles and responsibilities, deliverables, benefits and outcomes.
• Act as the first point of contact for any risks or issues arising from the project team
• “Early” escalation of issues and risks to proactively mitigate project risk
Status Reporting • Publish status reports in alignment with project communications cadences including:
o Daily scrum meetings
o Weekly status meetings
o Monthly or quarterly steering committees
Stakeholder Relationships • Partner with the Business and Corporate IT to effectively deliver data related projects
• Work closely with horizontal data capabilities and or supporting processes including:
o Data Governance
o Information Security
o Data Privacy
o Enterprise Architecture
o Enterprise Information Management
o Master Data Management
o Quality
o Legal
