Job Description/Skills Required
- Develop deep understanding of functional/divisional stakeholder learning objectives and strategy to anticipate needs and provide consultative guidance, NBS CONEXTS Learning service offerings
- Deep knowledge and experience with established Learning Design Principles
- Represent the CONEXTS Learning team as our authority on Learning Design
- Responsible for establishing, in partnership with Business Stakeholders, the Learning Design Strategy for a Global Business Services group which provides end to end design and development of learning solutions.
- Build strong relationships with key learning strategy stakeholders to understand their learning vision and how CONEXTS Learning can support and enable that vision
- Define the learning design governance framework that enables the development and facilitation of bespoke learning solutions for a range of audiences with a particular capability to work with senior/executive leaders and hi-potential employees.
- Lead the creation and design of key learning programmes (face to face, virtual, and self-paced online) integrating adult learning theory into multi-platform learning
- Drive new learning and educational technologies and platforms and best practice
- Positively influence senior stakeholders to encourage the adoption of our best in class learning design approaches
- Provide thought, strategic and content design leadership to a global team of learning designers who are actively working to on our portfolio of programs and projects
- Ensure the content design / development teams are embracing new ways of working, adopting new standards, and using the right tooling.
- Work with other learning experts in the Novartis Learning community to establish learning best practices to stay current and respond to learning trends
- Work closely with the Learning Evaluation Manager to measure the impact and effectiveness of learning and development programmes on business performance, and create corresponding enhancement plans.
