Job Description/Skills Required
- Masters with 3-6 years of experience in pharmaceutical industry in the field of in-life pharmacokinetics.
- Should expertise in animal handling and performing PK studies in rats and mice independently. Sound knowledge of different dosing techniques like, oral, iv, intra-tracheal, intra-deuodenal, intra-nasal etc.
- Should have sound knowledge on formulation preparation for various routes based on BSC classification and in accordance with GRASS limits.
- Should well versed with various surgical techniques in rodents like jugular vein, portal vein, bile duct cannulation etc.
- Should have well versed with PK analysis software like Winnonlin/Pheonix.
- Competent to understand the bio-analytical data, write PK reports and providing the interpretation.
- Show a strong sense of responsibility, troubleshooting and work ethic
- Demonstrate teamwork spirit and able to interact with different stakeholders.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form and discuss regularly with team, the client and manager.
- Maintaining the required animals, consumables and chemical for smoothing conduction of PK studies without delay.
