Job Description/Skills Required
- Design, set up and execute experiments for resin based column chromatography (low pressure and medium pressure) process development for fermentation based API and intermediates.
- Purification of fermentation based APIs and intermediate molecules using preparative HPLC
- Downstream purification process development for isolation of fermentation based API and/or intermediates using relevant techniques.
- Perform microfiltration, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration and any other downstream purification techniques as and when required.
- Guide and train other scientists in downstream purification processes for APIs and intermediates
- Scale-up of DSP process from lab scale to pilot and plant scale.
