Job Description/Skills Required
- Prepare, Load the in-process, crude, monitoring samples onto LC-MS as per the instructions given in Standard operating procedures (SOP s).
- Integrate the analyzed samples from the sequence reported results in the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Assisting your supervisor in determining sources of problems (Corrective Action Reports) and implementing corrective actions to resolve those issues.
- Preparation of standards, mobile phase solutions, buffers and reagents.
- Preparation of samples as per the procedures for multiple instrumental analysis
- Performing routine maintenance of equipment and instrumentation.
- Must be able to comprehend and follow written instructions, methodologies, procedures, protocols, and policies without deviation.
- Keep track of and order supplies for your work in a timely fashion.
- Complete general laboratory paperwork in laboratory logbooks, maintenance books, standard books, maintaining the paper work of SOP’s as instructed by the Supervisor
- Recommend process improvements to improve department efficiencies.
- Keep equipment and work area clean and organized.
- Dispose of samples and waste products by procedures found in SOP
- Other duties as assigned by your supervisor
