Job Description/Skills Required
- Read and understand client pre-formulation requirements
- Solid State and Solution State Characterization (interpretation of DSC, TGA and pXRD etc. data)
- Solubility assessment in Aqueous and Organic solvents simulated intestinal and gastric Medias.
- Bioavailability enhancement of compounds
- Excipient Compatibility Studies
- Preclinical formulation development of NCEs for pharmacokinetic, toxicology, and in vivo efficacy studies.
- Ability to work with wide variety of excipients, API and dosage forms
- Hands-on experience in strategy to come up with pharmaceutically acceptable salts for NCEs and their characterization and interpretation of the data to propose the suitable salt.
- Should know the know-how of various formulations combinations to address the solubility issues for various routes to perform PK studies in preclinical species.
- Should be able to develop dosage forms for therapeutic areas like oncology, metabolic disorders, inflammation etc.
- Should be able to develop HPLC-UV based methods for conducting formulation analysis under GLP and Non-GLP modes
- Good knowledge of chromatography.
- Preparation of documents such as SOP’s for Laboratory instruments and reports for preformulation studies.
