Job Description/Skills Required
Lab Database Set Up is a critical phase in clinical research with the objective of designing and ensuring on time launch of the study specific lab database for the clinical trial to begin. This is done in three main steps
a) Integrating key clinical trial protocol information into study design documents to define the scope of work.
b) Configuring the lab database with the scope defined in the design documents.
c) Dry run of the database by the applicable Departmental representatives to ensure that the database is validated before being launched in Live environment.
We currently have vacancies for Global Set Up manager and Global Set Up coordinator as follows.
Essential Functions
• Assist with study validation activities
• Research problems, gather information, and liaise with lab colleagues to help ensure projects are set-up in line with established procedures and customer requirements
• Configure project database, where applicable
• Maintain accurate project documentation files
• Keep Setup Managers, Project Managers and other relevant staff informed of any issues that may affect the smooth running of the project
• Participate in local and global improvement projects as defined by the relevant process improvement management team. Participate in internal audits, as required
• Work performed is in accordance with ICH E6 Guideline for Good Clinical Practice.
Qualifications
• High School Diploma or equivalent Req
• Bachelor’s Degree Science field or related Pref
