Job Description Vimta Labs is seeking highly motivated and talented fresh postgraduates to join our Downstream Process Development (DSP) team. Key Responsibilities: Working under the direct supervision of senior scientists and team leads, the Trainee will be trained to:

• Execute Unit Operations: Assist in the hands-on execution of various DSP unit operations, including column chromatography, tangential flow filtration (TFF/UF/DF), and centrifugation.
• Documentation & Data Management: Learn to accurately maintain laboratory notebooks (LNBs), capture generated data/evidence, and assist in preparing study protocols and technical reports.
• Process Support: Support ongoing process development experiments, optimization studies, and routine laboratory maintenance activities.
• Quality & Compliance: Understand and adhere to quality management systems (QMS), cGMP guidelines, and documentation required for equipment qualifications (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Scale-Up/Tech Transfer Exposure: Gain initial exposure to the principles of process scale-up and technology transfer activities.

Required Skills & Attributes

• Experience: 0 Years (This position is designed for freshers/recent postgraduates).
• Education: M.Sc or M.Tech in Biotechnology, Biochemistry, Microbiology, or a closely related life sciences field is mandatory.
• Technical Knowledge: Strong theoretical knowledge of protein purification principles, separation techniques, and bioprocess concepts acquired during academic coursework, projects, or thesis work.
• Soft Skills: Excellent analytical aptitude, keen problem-solving skills, strong attention to detail, and effective communication abilities (both written and verbal).
• Work Ethic: A proactive, self-starting attitude towards learning new techniques and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team structure.

Job Description : We are seeking skilled professionals to join our Downstream Process Development (DSP) team, focusing on both microbial and mammalian products. The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in DSP operations and a strong understanding of the process development lifecycle from early-stage development to late-stage activities and regulatory documentation .

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and optimize various DSP unit operations, including chromatography, filtration (UF/DF), and centrifugation.
• Support process scale-up activities and technology transfer to manufacturing sites.
• Participate in early-stage process development and late-stage activities, including Stability-Indicating Methods (SDM), Process Characterization (PC), and resin life cycle studies.
• Prepare and review critical documentation such as regulatory documents, logbooks, LNBs (Laboratory Notebooks), protocols, and technical reports.
• Ensure all processes comply with Qualification standards (Installation Qualification (IQ), Operational Qualification (OQ), and Performance Qualification (PQ)).
• Maintain accurate documentation of all experimental data and evidence generated during development.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience Range: 0 to 10 Years in a relevant biopharmaceutical or R&D setting.
• Hands-on experience with core DSP unit operations is essential.
• In-depth DSP development experience for both microbial and mammalian expression platforms is highly preferred.
• Exposure to scale-up and technology transfer processes.
• Good working knowledge of cGMP principles and Quality Management Systems (IQ, OQ, PQ).
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
