Job Description/Skills Required
- Identifying potential products which are aligned with the existing product basket of Hetero and can possibly give synergistic business advantage
- Tracking of the procurement patterns of the existing customers and propose the new projects/products for development
- Tracking competitor activities to analyse the gaps in our product basket
- Handling the communication for the current in-licenses; sending the timely reports to the licensors; timely flagging the gaps, if any to the management
- Inter-department follow ups and meetings to track the product development and adherence to the committed timelines
- Securing Hetero’s pipeline and portfolio products for selected markets of operations via various business models (in-licensing, co-development, distribution, fee-for-project, etc.)
- Building up a strong network of global in-licensing/ development partners and cultivate them.
- Strategy development and implementation in the context of Hetero strategy.
- Preparations of business cases for each deal to make sure the inter-functional alignment and ensuring the highest benefits from each potential licensing deal based on NPV targets of Hetero.
- Analysing resources/return aspects carefully and leveraging from resources and programs to achieve maximum value from each selected deal.
- Participation in inter-functional projects teams and closely following the status of pipeline in close communication with other functional teams.
- Being very close to the market and monitoring respective trends feeding this information back into the portfolio department or respective functions in the organisation
- Entrepreneurial character and attitude are the key personality required for the candidate to match with the corporate identity of Hetero.
- Able to work independently and under pressure
- Representing Hetero in the respective partnering events such as IAS, CPHI, ICASA, Pharma Venue etc.
- Continuous self-education about Hetero’s Portfolio and technology platforms ambition (Generics, oncology product, Hepatitis, Anti-viral, Anti TB, Anti Asthmatic, CVS, CNS etc.)
- Planning and execution of own working trips in close alignment with the respective team members and internal functions.
- Ensuring compliance with all legal regulations and rules.
