Job Description/Skills Required
- Comprehensive knowledge in synthetic organic chemistry is required.
- Performing Literature survey for the given project using various chemical search engines such as SciFinder, Reaxys, MoleBase, etc.
- Designing and execution of various chemical reactions for process development and reaction optimization.
- Enlisting product, intermediates and related chemicals and gathering their information like specifications, properties and MSDS for safe handling.
- Writing of technical procedure, reports and generated data in R&D experiment note book and transfer into documented format.
- Demonstration of scale up batches to Pilot plant/ Tech Transfer team.
- Coordinating with analytical department to get done analysis of reaction with required parameters and accordingly sample preparation. Interpretation of the analytical data
- Coordinating with inter department for administrative related work
- Should be able to take additional responsibility of general lab activities.
- Participating in collaborative lab discussion with colleagues for the technical issues and other problem solution.
- Should have computer proficiency and should have hand on experience in chemistry related software.
- Should handle safety related activity as proposed by EHS department
- Takes decisions to optimise own budget and resources
