Job description
1. Conduct regular quality control tests on raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
2. Perform sensory evaluations to assess factors such as taste, texture, appearance, and aroma of food products.
3. Monitor and enforce adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), and other regulatory requirements.
4. Document all quality control procedures, test results, and corrective actions taken to address any quality issues.
5. Investigate and resolve quality-related problems, such as product defects, contamination, or non-conformance to specifications.
6. Collaborate with production staff to implement quality improvement initiatives and optimize production processes.
7. Conduct internal audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with safety standards.
8. Communicate quality-related issues, trends, and recommendations to management and other relevant stakeholders.
9. Train and educate production staff on quality control procedures, safety practices, and compliance requirements.
