Job Description/Skills Required
- Overall Management of Utility & Critical systems section function.
- Perform daily routine inspection / monitoring of all critical utilities & systems at site with close coordination of electrical & instrumentation section.
- Responsible for critical system like pre-treatment, purified water & WFI system monitoring, maintenance, safe operations & smooth functioning of other critical systems like chillers, Brine plants, Boiler, Air Compressor, Air Dryers, Nitrogen generation plants, cooling tower, pumps, etc. Also responsible for HVAC systems / other air conditioning systems for all plants & supporting sections / areas.
- Routine monitoring of environmental conditions of PP area, preventive & breakdown maintenance of critical systems & utilities. Routine qualification & validation of water/ HVAC systems, compressed air & Nitrogen systems.
- Lead & drive Utility team & outsourcing of successful completion of various tasks of critical systems & utility areas. Manage / control manpower & allotting jobs to contract staff in shifts.
- Implementation of energy conservation tools & techniques, Utility load calculation, reduction in power by cost consolidating utilities generation & distribution & reduction in the losses. Efficiency calculation of all utilities, its monitoring & ensuring optimal performance of all utilities.
- Time to time Review/ modify SOPs & Protocols of critical systems as per the QMS requirement. Review & finalization of PM checklist, PM schedules, calibration schedules, equipment matrix & master list of equipment & systems.
- Maintaining critical system documentation as per regulatory requirements, internal & external audits compliance, participate in closing required QMS specific documents like incident / change control, CAPA, Deviation, investigation & analysis.
- Review of techno commercial critical material procurement, inventory control, billing verification. Coordination with purchase department.
- Preparation & provision of engineering revenue budget and CAPEX for critical systems & utility area.
- Coordination with various government officials, MIDC, Boiler Inspector & compliance of statutory requirements related to critical systems.
- Compliance of near miss & safety related observations in utility area / critical system areas.
