Service Manager – Medical device Reporting To Group Therapy Manager Location Ameerpet, Hyderabad Roles and Responsibilities In this role you will- Define product service strategy including installation, functional check out monitoring, maintenance, methodologies, troubleshooting, repair methods, repair parts and service tools. Ensure design requirements incorporate the defined service strategyserviceability, participating in design and program reviews to optimize implementation. Verify and validate the product design, service documentation and service processes, using appropriate internal and external expertise, to ensure serviceability goals are met. Release and distribution of repair parts, tools, documentation and processes to enable and support regional sales and service. Design, develop, and test all aspects of medicalsurgical components, equipment, and instruments Demonstrate and explain correct operation of equipment to medical personnel OT Staff Drs Nursing Staff Visit to corporate Hospital ICUOT Sales and Marketing Team training program Work with cross-functional teams to test prototypes. Analyse failure, corrective and preventive action to respond to customer complaints. Perform independent inspection reports. Install, adjust, maintain, repair, or provide technical support for biomedical equipment Product include Intracranial pressure monitors, NPWTVAC, Programmers for shunt and other future capital equipment launches Strategize, Plan and execute patient support program to drive NPWT application across country with the help of contractual dresser staff. Operating Network Internal Connect with field colleagues ABM, RM and Collaborate with marketing team for specific requirements. External Interface with Doctors, Nurses, OT staff and international partner Professional Knowledge and Experience Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent 12 years relevant product service engineering experience or new product design and service engineering experience Preferred Qualifications Master of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering or equivalent experience Field service experience Medical device design and support experience Expertise with PC based, single board computer and embedded device design and support Working knowledge of International Organization for StandardizationISO, Final design approvalFDA and other applicable medical device regulatory standards Familiarity with GEHC products Demonstrated success leading global technical project teams Desired Skills Competencies Good writing skills and verbal communication.
