Job Description/Skills Required
- To check for daily bed occupancy and plan the days operation in both OP and IP Pharmacies.
- • To check for Prescription, Indent and Audit medication error such as correct dose, formulation, route, strength and frequency.
- To inspect for Therapeutic duplication.
- To examine drug interaction among the patients.
- To examine food versus drug interaction among the patients.
- To check the home medication and registering them in a prescribed format with the approved consent from treating consultant
- To respond all Drugs related query from Health Care Professionals. • It is must to monitor ADR (Adverse Drug Reaction) and documenting the same.
- To conduct In-Patient ward rounds for checking the Drug charts and discharge summary • To detect medication errors and daily narcotic indent verification
- To Prepare the Chemo Admixture whenever required according to the defined protocols. • To Prepare and reporting High-end Antibiotic usage on daily basis.
- To report Food and Drug interaction status on a daily basis.
- To report antibiotic consumption on a monthly basis.
- Shall have periodical rotational duty at OP Pharmacy and responsible for prescription auditing and patient counseling.
- It must to follow guidelines in Storage and handling of narcotic drugs.
- It is essential to make rounds along with Consultant or Doctor upon their preference
- To maintain ethical practices and diplomacy at all levels that we are dealing in our day to day transactions.
- To follow all the rules and regulations of the organization prevails in practice from time to time.
