• Establish an internal communications plan in conjunction with senior management and business/functional leaders.
• Ensure that the company’s values, goals, initiatives, events, successes and challenges are successfully communicated to employees in a relevant and timely manner
• Plan, write and manage timely content for a variety of internal communication mediums, such as the employee intranet, monthly magazine, regular email bulletins, employee town-hall meetings, etc.
• Keep the leadership apprised of progress on communication interventions
• Interact closely with businesses and functions to storyboard or translate ideas into narratives for employees
• Create presentations for organisational events, such as town-halls, leader meetings, etc.
• Ensure internal communications are consistent across all mediums and for different departments of the organisation
• Ensure internal communication messages are consistent with external communication messages
• Seek and respond to feedback from employees and adjust communications content accordingly
• Handle the internal communication response to crisis situations which affect organisational perception and reputation
• Monitor happening’s and developments throughout the organisation, and make informed decisions on what communication is required
• Ensure that all communication and messaging adheres to the company’s brand standard guidelines
