Job description
Role & responsibilities
- Carryout sampling of raw material
- Analyse raw material | in-process | finished product samples as per defined procedure
- Record data | results obtained appropriately and submit it to QA
- Tests include Colour, Appearance, Solid content, pH, Solubility, Acid value, viscosity, Tw, Specific gravity, Formaldehyde content, Glyoxal content etc
- Application Tests include Wetting, Foaming, Residual Peroxide by titration, Released formaldehyde by Law 112, Tensile strength, Tear Strength, Colour fastness, Rubbing fastness etc
- Prepare solutions of reagents | volumetric solutions and complete standardisation of volumetric solutions as per defined procedure
- Maintain documents and records appropriately for easy retrievability and traceability
Preferred candidate profile
Candidate must have min 2 years of experience in textile auxiliary | chemical manufacturing industry.
