Job Description/Skills Required
- Conduct analysis, testing and purification of product samples:
- Develop analytical methods for intermediates and final compounds
- Collect all the samples and record the content into the register
- Collect solvents from the store and check for its quality
- Prioritize and prepare samples for the required analysis
- Prepare mobile phase for HPLC, LCMS and preparative HPLC
- Process HPLC/ LCMS chromatograms to analyze molecules and enrich purity of the intermediates/ final compounds
- Develop methods and purify compounds using prep HPLC/ MS – Prep HPLC/ SFC
- Analyze the samples using HPLC, NMR, GCMS and LCMS etc.
- Support senior team members in preparing reports with test results
- Ensure safety at work through adherence of best lab management practices:
- Handle all chemicals and instruments in a safe manner, adhere to the lab safety practices and ensure compliance
- Communicate to the in-house engineer/senior team members immediately in case of any instrument break down
- Record, maintain and update the analysis in an accurate manner on a continuous basis
- Maintain data integrity and IP confidentiality:
- Maintain strict IP Confidentiality and adhere to all related policies
- Ensure skill development of self:
- Enhance knowledge related to NMR, HPLC, LCMS, GCMS, POLARIMETER, ATR generation and wet analysis etc.
