Hiring For Laboratory Assistant (Physics)/Project Associate-I (Geology / Geophysics / Electronics Engineer) in Atomic Minerals Directorate for Exploration & Research (AMD!
1. Categories to be engaged: Laboratory Assistant (in Physics discipline) and Project Associate-I (in Geology /Geophysics /Electronics discipline).
2. Target group: The candidates as per eligibility criteria specified at point-4.
3. Objectives: For successful completion of the project “Heliborne Survey, Remote Sensing and Ground Geophysical investigations for locating concealed Uranium deposits” being executed by AMD in a time bound manner. Please note that the young professionals may be assigned field work for data collection and scientific studies.Laboratory Assistant (Physics): Services of Laboratory Assistant shall be utilized to provide analytical support both in labs and field. Heliborne and ground geophysical surveys require support of skilled manpower so as to ably assist the scientific officers for timely completion of the studies and generate quality data.
Project Associate-I: Project Associates, based on their knowledge/experience on various advanced geophysical techniques engaged to be associated with the senior scientists of AMD to decipher the disposition of mineralized zones, so as to define the controls of ore body and guide the drilling strategy and also to measure the geophysical parameters of rock samples. This would aid in sophisticated modeling and inversion of data to understand the ore forming process, which in turn
