Job Description/Skills Required
- Responsible for getting vendors quotation in line with the technical and commercial specifications
- Evaluating and selecting best vendor for commercial supplies for printed and unprinted PM
- Co-ordination with PDC and vendor for new artwork development, proof and shade card approval
- Working on monthly MRP & conversion of PR to PO , Issuing PO to vendor with proper schedule
- Follow-ups with vendor for effecting shipments as per agreed schedule in PO.
- Proactively Highlight the PM delivery gaps if supplier is missing the agreed schedule
- Ensuring no stock-out situation while managing Inventory at site.
- Daily interaction & Coordination with planners(plant & HO), production, vendors for uninterrupted PM supply to manufacturing unit
- Daily interaction & coordination with stores of respective units for prompt unloading, GR booking & acceptance of PM.
- Daily interaction & coordination with QA department for settlement of Quality issues on total incoming PMs.
- Coordination with vendor and QA department for corrective & preventative actions for ensuring quality supplies.
- Interaction & coordination with finance for timely bill booking & payment to vendors.
- Settlements of vendor debit balance in coordination with plant and finance
- Managing of huge versatile Vendor base for low spend supplies
- Ensure accurate & timely submission of commercial information to the management through MIS & regular review of inventory.
- Proactively plan and source material for new product initiatives at site.
