Job Description/Skills Required
- Responsibility of manufacturing operations of OSD as per cGMP, SOPs, and regulatory guidelines & to ensure that objectives are attained in a cost effective manner.
- Directing manufacturing of Tablets & Capsule (Oral Solid Dosage) and ensure timely delivery / dispatch of products.
- Responsibility of execution of mass production by ensuring the quality standards.
- Ensure that products are produced and stored according to the appropriate documentation.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, PPIC, Engineering and Store regarding production schedule.
- Overall planning and implementation of maintenance schedules to enhance machine uptime on various critical parameters in order to minimize breakdown and production loss.
- Monitor and control overall cost of production at the plant including manpower cost, material cost & cost due to rejections and rework etc.
- Overall responsibility for compliance of production activities with Standard Operating Practice (SOP), Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Good Automated Manufacturing Practices (GAMP).
- Coordination with R& D- Formulation and initiation of new product formulation developments & process modifications/ improvements.
- Responsibility of formulating guidelines (SOPs) for manufacturing activities on the shop floor and ensure strict adherence to cGMP in manufacturing activities and produce output as per the norms and compliance to various guidelines.
- Ensure efficient production & develop new process concepts for production optimization & yield improvement.
- Carrying out scheduling, reviewing, monitoring of production and Compliance activities.
- Ensuring the quality standards and handling of non-compliance as per CAPA.
- Ensuring warehouse management and inventory management along with timely availability of RM/PM as per production planning.
- Monitoring and controlling overall cost of production at the plant including manpower, material, cost due to rejections and rework.
