Job Purpose
– Electronic Laboratory Notebook administration. – Literature survey. – Supervision of laboratory operation. – Ensuring laboratory safety and compliance.
Job Responsibilities
– Lead electronic laboratory notebook (ELN) software administration and management. Provide ELN traninigs to new joinees. Connect with third party and internal stakeholders on regular basis for implementation and troubleshooting.
– Literature survey as per order forms. – Supervision of experimental work in laboratory. – Ensure laboratory safety and compliances
– Ensure availability of raw materials and equipment required for the execution of experimental planning
– Understand the safety aspects of all reactions and chemicals to be used in laboratory – Play the role of ERT and shift incharge – Perform night duties as per site philosophy

Role & responsibilities
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders regarding process development / improvement initiatives to ensure that all factors are taken into account.
- To ensure maintenance and smooth running of process safety equipment’s to eliminate delays in experiments and data generation.
- Ensure all work and information is recorded in an electronic format/Lab note book.
- Process technology and development initiatives to explore alternative techniques of hazard identification and alternative options to problem resolution and to enable novel problems to be solved.
- Plan and control safety lab work and semi-technical work in order to meet agreed targets. •Understand and avoid scenarios, incidents that puts oneself as well as others to injuries /illness and Environment pollution
- Provide input to the process development community on safety data and assessment for new process development
- Ensure that the process hazards lab generates and reports required safety data in a timely manner, while exploring / supporting new ways of working to improve efficiency and precision of data / interpretation
- Generation and maintenance of work instructions/SOP, compliance with audits etc.
- Problem solving:- ability to analyze complex and diverse problem situations creatively leading to the generation and implementation of original solutions
- Management:- time management, good team player and meeting skills; work planning ; work prioritization; stakeholder management awareness.

Preferred candidate profile
BE/B.Tech (Chemical)/ Dual degree in Chemistry & Chemical Engineering
Experience:
Experience in data interpretation of DSC, TSU, ARC, VSP2 , RC1e, MIE , Flash point & other powder safety data and linking the data to plant scale
