Job Description:
Position Name– Research Associate / Senior Research Associate

Key Skills and Competencies:
- Come up with planning & execution strategy of project to deliver within the given time lines.
- Independently plan and execute reactions and with proper reagents and equipments, maintaining specified conditions with optimum usage and minimum wastage.
- Ensure material quality before using for the reaction and perform the reactions with proper precautions.
- Identify the critical process parameters in the reaction, and write the proper observations in the lab note book.
- Identify and execute appropriate work-up and purification techniques to produce an intermediates and final compounds of desired quality and quantity and with minimum support from seniors.
- Identify & implement in-process control wherever required based on the discussion with the project manager.
- Independently analyze analytical data and evaluate and interpret results from the synthesis and report.
- Meet productivity benchmarks on number of reactions, steps, compounds, quantity and quality and timelines.
- Validate the process in lab by performing three batches.
- Responsibility of scale up of developed projects at pilot scales as well as ion manufacturing plant.
- Write BPRs / process development reports for the optimized projects.
- Monitor reactions by observing progress by using analytical techniques.
- Prepare weekly project reports and final reports as for the requirement.
- Support project managers in finalizing the estimation of the project by identifying relevant literature, proposing appropriating synthetic protocols, routes, reaction design and by assessing project risks and challenges.
- Guide junior team members and ensure safety compliance and in enforcement of good laboratory practices.
- Identify and mitigate any potential safety risk with the help of supervisor and team members.
- Maintain strict IP confidentiality and adhere to all related policies.
- Good communication with lab members and Cross Functional Teams.
