Job Description/Skills Required
- Review the medical records, identify diagnoses and convert to ICD-10-CM codes by following CMS-HCC, HHS & client specific guidelines
- Flag reports/send queries to the provider for documentation deficiency
- At least 2 years of experience in Medical coding with experience and strong knowledge in ICD-10-CM coding
- Any one of the following coding certifications
- CPC, COC, CRC, CPC-P from AAPC
- CCS, CCS-P, CCA from AHIMA
- Strong knowledge in Medical terminology, Anatomy, ICD-9-CM and ICD-10-CM coding guidelines
