Job Description/Skills Required
Manage end to end international and domestic logistics for the business including:
- Floating requirement to shipping/ transport agents, negotiating rates and finalising shipment booking
- Preparation of the set of documents of the shipment for client, bank and internal requirements as per law
- Coordination with plant for shipment delivery taking complete responsibility of the shipment
- Constant communication with vendors and all stakeholders
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, material flow improvement, and business development.
- Communicating with client with all updates
Skills Required
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience
- Prior knowledge of international shipments and documentation, customs and compliances
- Command over written and spoken English and Hindi languages
- Proficiency over Ms Office
- Should have negotiation and good communication skills, be systematic and organised in their work.
